If you look at the detailed results of the CadaquƩs tornament for example, http://www.computerschach.de/tourn/ there are very many drawn games. Maybe in this tournament the bandwidth of strength was smaller than on ICC. It seems to me that in the early days of computer chess, the draws were less. But I didn't make an exact data comparison, it's just an impression. The SSDF might be able to verify if this is true. Regards, M.Scheidl
