Go up one level in this thread
On February 07, 2000 at 06:54:15, jonathon smith wrote: Chris, I'm sorry to reply to you when I don't know you or anything about you except what I've read in posts yesterday and today, and a few earlier on. And apologies too to the moderators for this very off-topic post, although relevant to this thread. I just want to ask you, what are you trying to gain by raking up all this mess time and time again? And why do you keep posting on CCC when you have your own forum somewhere else? I just don't understand your objectives. If you were happy to be free of CCC you wouldn't come here at all, for better or worse. If you secretly want to come back to CCC as ChrisW, then I think you're going the wrong way about it. To someone who doesn't know you (me), your behaviour seems extraordinarily bitter and immature. All I read are continual references to the banning incident which occurred some years ago now, and how the moderators have a hidden agenda. And apparently you are expending some effort in trying to gather evidence to proving the moderators have double standards. Please learn to let things go. You will have a longer and happier life if you do. No matter how correct and eloquent your arguments are, are you expecting people to make a U-turn and say "Yes Chris you were right all along, I'm so sorry this ever happened. Let's be pals and forget the whole affair."? If not, then what are you trying to achieve? I'm sorry, but I just don't understand your behaviour. I don't know whether you were rightfully or wrongfully banned, and don't really care. What I care about is that the topic "ChrisW" seems to be the precursor of a series of disruptive posts which spoil my enjoyment of this forum. I'd hazard a guess that this is the limit of what most CCC members care about as well. Each new post of yours just gives a stronger impression, to someone with no facts, that you were rightfully banned after all. I don't know what else to say. Please lighten up man. Mike. P.S.: To the moderators, I know this violates the charter. Feel free to delete this post if you think it should be.
