Dr. Hyatt uses Linux exclusively.  He used version 17-8.  My version has some
minor changes which I apply.  It is hard to make them really commensurate.

The closest thing I have to what he ran would be:
ftp://38.168.214.175/pub/CraftySmp.exe, but don't get that one unless you have a
multiple CPU version of NT.
