I didn't say that.  I said "there is plenty of evidence that says that an
additional ply is _always_ good."  Either you misunderstood, or I did a
horrible job of answering that question.  I will try to listen to it tonite
after class.  But hopefully _everyone_ knows what I think about one more
ply.  IE Crafty goes deep...

Takes a GM to point out the obvious sometimes.  I knew about it as I play that
way.  But I never thought about it from a computer evaluation point of view
until Roman pointed out that I had lost three games out of 10 the same way
vs a GM on ICC.  A critical oversight.
