It is possible he meant that even though Kasparov was afraid, he didn't take any
action. :)

Kasparov's comments first at NY and then at WAZ 2000 convinced me he is no man
to admire for his view of the world. I personally hope his net challenger creams
him if he ever has a WC match. But I think it is ridiculous to conclude that
because he has a world-class ego that he also fixes matches....
