Some facts:
1)The time control was G/25 and not G/60

2)I remember that kasparov lost 1.5:.5 against Genius3 on p90 when he thought
that he was playing against Genius2.

kasparov did not know the opponent when in this case he had not the same
problem.

3)Kasparov later won Genius3(pentium120) in G/25

4)If kasparov wanted not to play deep Junior the simplest way for him was not to
invite Deep Junior.
Kasparov knows Deep Junior and it does not make sense to assume that he suddenly
in the tournament found that Deep Junior is strong.

Deep Junior was must likely the

I agree that kasparov could not be sure about winning but I think that kasparov
is better than Deep Junior in game/60 and he has more than 50% chances to get at
least 1.5 out of 2 in 2 games

Kasparov probably knows Deep Junior's weaknesses and I doubt if the other
opponents really prepared to play in an anti-Junior style.

I saw weak games of Junior6 in the ssdf games and I think that the opponents
should try to get Junior out of book as soon as possible.

I saw 2 games from the ssdf games when Junior lost agaisnt the king 2(2290 ssdf
rating) because Junior forgot to castle.

I do not know if these problems are fixed in Junior6a but I am sure that Junior
has serious positional problems and players only need to know to play for the
right positions when it has these problems.

The problem is that adams had to play against another human and probably had not
time to prepare seriously against Deep Junior.
