This knowledge may be counterproductive in some studies and if you tell it insufficient material off then it does not use this knowledge and can find the right move in these studies. threshold is for analysis If you are interrested only in moves with score at least 1 pawn for yourself you can use threshold=100 Junior is not a null mover. I think that you have fritz's manual and not Junior's manual because selectivity and aggressiveness are parameters of Fritz. Uri
