Thanks to all who posted their results. Paulo S with Junior6 and Mark Y with Fritz6 showed that such a position is solvable in standard tournament 40/2 controls. Luckily I didn't use the word "impossible" position instead of "tough" position. This one position is part of a collection I've been working on under the passed pawn theme, mostly endgames of course but also includes some middlegames. I'll try to finish it up soon and post all of them.
