Hi all, after roughly 6 weeks, Fritz 6.0a has won my latest tournament, the Masters 2000 (40/40 on two PIII-550, 256 MB): First round (4+1 games): (results snipped) Eliminated: Crafty 17.7, LG 2000 V2, Comet B.10, Chessmaster 5555, Genius 6.5, Chess System Tal 2.03, MChess Pro 8.0, Zarkov 5.0. Quarter finals (6+2+1 games): Deep Junior 6.0 - Hiarcs 7.32 3.5:1.5 (+3 =1 -1) Shredder 4.0 - Chess Tiger 12.0e 3.5:2.5 (+2 =2 -1) Fritz 6.0a - Nimzo 7.32 3.5:2.5 (+1 =5 -0) WChess 2000 - Rebel 10.0 EOC 3.5:1.5 (+3 =1 -1) Semifinals (8+2 games): Deep Junior 6.0a - WChess 2000 5.0:1.0 (+4 =2 -0) Fritz 6.0a - Shredder 4.0 5.0:2.0 (+4 =2 -1) Finals (10+4+2 games): Fritz 6.0a - Deep Junior 6.0a 6.0:2.0 (+5 =3 -1) Fritz has thus defended its title (5.16 won the Masters 1999). Its overall performance (including the +3 =0 -1 against MChess 8 in the first round) was +13 =10 -3. Fritz played with the Junior 6 book. Fritz has qualified for the Shep Championship 2000 in July, joining Junior, Nimzo, Chess Tiger and Rebel.
