i am not teaching ed. this is no email group. i am talking open to all the
others. ed knows exactly because he has experienced with extensions too
in e.g. take mm4, mm5 and later polgar. especially polgar IMO did many
capture-lines but this did not make it stronger IMO.
mm5 often played very nice key-moves. but was IMO - like many of ed's programs -
not a tactic-monster. but mm5 found many key-move in test-positions in those
days. to all our surprise in those days.

i did not followed this tournament in any way.

since chessbase is not numbering their versions (or do they ? where ?)
it is very difficult to follow this version dispute.

i do only have the update of the so known 6 version called 6a.
this is participating in my tournament.
if matthias wants to let another version participate, he can send me the url or
the version or whatever.
i can only do as good as i can. so my objections come from watching
fritz6a ... don't know which one this is. maybe you know.

i liked the super-forte C much.
