6k1/2p2r1p/2PrQ3/P7/8/4K3/1P5P/8 w - - 0 1 In the above position, with white to move, I'm wondering if any of the top programs give Qxd6 as winning. Seems to me after that move the 3 connected passed pawns overwhelm the lone black rook. Junior 6a and Fritz 6a, on a PIII-600, appear to seriously only consider Qc4. If this is so I'm a little disappointed these two top programs don't find Qxd6. Even I, not a strong player, found Qxd6 when asked to find the winning move. Thanks for your thoughts, John
