Program authors have a habit of putting the version number of their program in the name of the .exe file that Winboard invokes. For example, Program might be called Program10.exe, for example. When I download programs, I always edit the name back down simply to Program.exe when I save it, so that I don't have to re-edit the Winboard command lines again after download. For example, the line "I:\Winboard\winboard.exe -zp -ics -icshost chessclub.com -fd i:\winboard\SOS -fcp SOS -icshelper timestamp" invokes the program SOS to play on ICC from Winboard. In the next version, the programmer might call the executable SOS3.exe (it's just an example). That screws up my command line, so when the download box appears, I edit it back to SOS.exe. Makes life a lot simpler, I find. :) You also have to edit the drive letter. Mine above is drive I:, if yours is drive C:, replace I: with C: Hope this helps.
