No. With the next version you'll be able to use 128Mb of hash tables if Tiger
thinks it is the right amount, even if your computer has only 64Mb.

No, it's a joke. The amount of hash tables you will select in the engine
properties window will be taken as the maximum amount to use. This way it will
still be possible to run Tiger and another chess program on the same computer.
If you give Tiger 64Mb but start to play a game in 1 minute, it will
automatically decrease the amount of hash tables to use (and will probably set
it to 1Mb or something like that) in order to avoid losing too much time at
every move clearing or updating the hash table.
This will, I hope, be the end of the "how much hash tables is optimal for Tiger"
questions. Because the answer will always be: "give it as much as your computer
has", whatever time control, whatever computer.
