Just today I realized that some users of the REBEL-TIGER have checked the option
"Analysis brain" and leave this option checked when they play real games.
This definitely KILLS the playing strength of the program.
Analysis brain must only be used when you want to analyse a game, it lets the
engine think on moves of both sides.
Analysis brain:
1) kills the permanent brain
2) clears the hash tables after every move
Analysis brain decreases the playing strength in real games by at least 50 elo
points or more.
When you play games TURN ANALYSIS BRAIN OFF
TURN PERMANENT BRAIN ON
I apologize for the trouble. We should have stated this clearly in the
documentation.
