There are a few minor tweaks you can make, but it won't be dramatic. For starters, go to the start menu -> run "msconfig". Look in the start up tab and see what's set to start automatically upon boot up. You can probably get rid of most of it. Active desktop can be disabled through the display properties dialog box. Moving your page file to a separate hard disk (assuming you have one) helps some, but not too much. -- James On March 06, 2000 at 15:42:53, G. R.
