If possible, how can one (a >non-computer expert) delete stuff safely from its operation without, deleting >it entirely, to speed it up for windows chess software? Thanks. I strongly suggest you to visit www.98lite.net , read about this 98Lite and then purchase the Professional 2.0 version. It is great. Have you ever had windows98 installed so that all windows directory, autoexec etc files, I mean, all that together takes less then 70 Mb ? You can try the Standard verson first. I use 98Lite, Micro installation, on both my computers and I am just happy about it. Runs great, fast and no crushes. Didzis Cirulis
