My opponent used the general.ctg book that came with her program. The one variable she uses which I omitted to mention is that she claims that by setting the contempt value to -200, she has gotten strong result. I own fritz 532, hiarcs 732 and Nimzo 732, and I did mention to her that I believed the -200 was a bit extreme, but she has had great results with it (including some very impressive wins against my hiarcs and nimzo at 15/15 time control). I would appreciate some feed back on the effect her putting a -200 contempt value has on Fritz 6a. The time controls on our games is 15/15.
