Upon some investigation I have discovered a way how the analyse brain box can become checked without the user knowing. If you check Analyse mode under the Game pull down menu, and then after analyzing select new game and click players to select Human against Computer, the Analyse mode gets unchecked but Analyse brain remains on with the box checked! The solution is easy. After analyzing, always look under Options and make certain the Analyse brain box is unchecked to be sure it's off. I am not saying that all those people, including myself, have done that to check off the Analyse brain box, I'm just giving a scenario by which it could occur. Regards, Mel
