Crafty will work with any number, but you have to re-compile it to get it to go beyond 4, as that is the default max. If you can compile on your machine, edit the Makefile and change the -DCPUS=4 to -DCPUS=8 and you are set. Just add the line mt=8 (or less) to your crafty.rc file and you will be ready to go.
