Thanks James, Pete & Laurence for reponding to my question. I was not able to
respond at all because shortly after posting my question, my tech friend who'd
been giving up time on saturdays (and during great wheather too!) to try to work
out my harddrive problems, gave up and took my computer back to the shop with
her, and installed Win98 so and a new seedy-rom, and a few misc things like a
Promise card to fix the old bios.

So anyhow, what I have at the moment is 2 FAT16 partitions to allow me to dual
boot back to old Dos6.22, and a big fat FAT32 partition. Amazingly enough, as
little as I know about computers, my computer ends up being more of a pain to
upgrade than the average business' upgrades are.

Just an odd note, the File Manager thinks the large FAT32 partition is only 2GB,
but the Explorer can see it just fine.

Sorry for not responding earlier. Thanks.

Pete
