This is indeed sad news.

May I ask some questions and demands? :-)

1) Any release date (approx.) for CM8k?
2) Will there be a new King-engine in it?
3) Me and many others would like to see more analysis features:
   a) n-variation like in the cb family and Shredder
   b) include/exclude certain moves from analysis like in Rebel
   c) analyse database completely or only selected games, also with PGN/EPD or
if only PGN then please also FEN-lines
   d) analysis monitor = background analysis, e.g. in player-player-mode is a
wish since ages...of course refers to a) and b)
4) auto232- or better LAN-support for autoplaying games against other
programs/machines
5) 64MB hash...well...nowadays there might be wishes for limit of 128MB but
considering the engine speed/nodes per second, 64MB might be enough.
