Eriq,

Mr. Amir Ban can afford such a trip but he probably doesn't want to go to
communist China. It would also be up to his state department in Israel as to
whether he could be allowed to go in the first place. In any case Xie Jun is
not a very strong world champion and does not merit such a trip.

I see no reason not to play as the match was designed. I am questioning the
secrecy of the match and the fact that after ten moves the game was adjourned. I
suspect that Xie Jun realized early on that she had a tiger by the tail and
would soon be ripped to shreds. Deep Junior 6.x on a quad 500Mhz machine with
full EGTBs and 256Mb of RAM ate Mr. Adams and he is over two hundred points
stronger than Xie Jun.

I don't think that the Chinese leadership would like to see one of their own be
totally humiliated by a foreign adversary.
