It would also be up to his state department in Israel as to whether he could be allowed to go in the first place. In any case Xie Jun is not a very strong world champion and does not merit such a trip. I see no reason not to play as the match was designed. I am questioning the secrecy of the match and the fact that after ten moves the game was adjourned. I suspect that Xie Jun realized early on that she had a tiger by the tail and would soon be ripped to shreds. Deep Junior 6.x on a quad 500Mhz machine with full EGTBs and 256Mb of RAM ate Mr. Adams and he is over two hundred points stronger than Xie Jun. I don't think that the Chinese leadership would like to see one of their own be totally humiliated by a foreign adversary. Tim Frohlick
