I read it like a script for a movie, Tina!. Or maybe a musical, with Anatoli singing the lead vocals.. You should become a novelist, Tina! Super Tuesday was probably a coincidence, don't you think? If I take it as a serious question, I can't think what would have been the connection. The Dow Jones seems to be in the up again, after better figures from the government about inflation prospects and with oilprices slowly coming down a bit. All Ordinaries didn't go down much. But I hardly know anything about economics. So difficult a chessgame, where everybody has to make a move and the rules keep changing all the time... But you can see it as big challenge too and try to make some sense of all the numbers and figures, I suppose.. What would be the economic prospects with the remaining US presidential candidates? I think Al Gore has some better chances now, John McCain was given a bigger lead over Al Gore in the polls. Al Gore will of course try to continue the economically successful policy of the present government, Bush more a hands off approach, and he proposes more taxcuts. Can't imagine that scared the investors much, Bush certainly has backing enough from the industry judging by the size of his campaign funds. It will be interesting to see though if Al Gore's views on protecting the environment will become an issue in the elections and, if he gets elected, can he achieve something against the powerful lobbying of the conservative industry? I don't think it will become a big election issue. It's not something to easily score points with in an election debate. The matter is just complex, many opposing views and interests etc. But Al gore wants more debating between the presidential candidates, that should be interesting. Right, nothing to do with computer chess. I was kind of hoping somebody would want to try out the Karpov-Kasparov position with their Juniors, Nimzos.. Books and EOCs disabled of course.
