But that's probably not a nice thing to do to "the typical user", who is probably also running Word, AOL, a cute little background corkboard app, a virus scanner that he forgot to change the preferences on so it scans his entire hard drive every hour, and several other system tray apps that he has no idea how to turn off after he installed them. ;-) I suspect that the default is going to be 2MB this time around, and there will be a BIG warning any time the user attempts to adjust the hash table size too high for his/her machine. jm
