Rebel drew the game against GM ronen har zvi.
The game was in bar sheva
Moshe slav(the man who is responsible for the hardware) told me before the game
that he is going to put the computer in bar sheva one day before the game and is
not going to be in bar seva.
Unfortunately he did not feel well and did not go to bar sheva.
I think that slav could tell me by phone that he did not go to bar sheva(In this
case I could prepare to connect the hardware in bar seva) but he did not do it.
slav gave the hardware to one of the players of the team of Rebel and told him
to help me to connect the hardware(This player is also not experienced in
connecting the hardware).
I asked the operator if Fritz what to do and he told me that I need a longer
thing to connect the hardware.
I looked for help in the first 15-20 minutes of the game and did not find it.
I decided to put the copmputer in a distance of 2 meters from the board so I
could connect the hardware after some minutes.
It was not the end of my problems.
In the first time I forgot to connect the mouse so the computer told me that I
must connect the mouse when the computer is turned off if I want to use it.
In the second time after I connected the mouse the computer told me that I must
install Rebel century again.
Fortunately I had the CD of Rebel century with me so I could do it.
After installation of Rebel century and copying the right book I had only less
than 80 minutes for 40 moves so I decided not to install century1.2a because I
was not sure if I can do it in time)
In the last game I had problems with installing Rebel centrury1.2 because a file
was missing in winzip and fortunately some people help me to use pkunzip.
I was not sure if I will have no problem with using pkunzip(my experience is
only with winzip) so I decided not to waste more time and start the game.
After the game I discovered that the same file was not missing and that I could
use winzip but I felt that I wasted too much time in the game and did not want
to waste more time.
I think that Rebel century did a bad choice of the opening and got no advanatge
after 21 moves.
Rebel believes that it is better but the fact that the evaluation is going down
almost every iteration is a proof that Rebel does not understand the position.
Analyzing of the position after move 21 with century1.2a show the following
evaluations:
22.Qh3 Qxd4 0.89:12
22.Qh3 Qxd4 0.80:13
22.Qh3 Qxd4 0.68:14
har zvi offered a draw after playing move 38 and I accepted the offer.
I did not analyze the game but I think that GM har zvi missed a win by
28...bxa3 and I do not think that Rebel could do better than a draw even in the
best conditions.
Har zvi said after the game that 27...Qe5 was probably winning.
I did not analyze it but I think that he could win also after 27...Qg5
I think that 22.Qh5 is probably a result of the smart anti-GM because century2a
like this move if the anti GM is active.
other results are:Fritz6 drew with GM golod and shredder won rook endgames(I
think against a master)
The last moves in a KRP vs KR endgame were played directly from shredder's
tablebases.
