If you're looking for the spit and polish interface, with
the largest support base and the largest built in driver
collection, then Win98.  But Win98 really sucks.  Really.


NT 4 is much more solid, but not really geared for the
average home user.  2000 is built on the NT code base,
and from what I've seen of it so far, it seems pretty
stable.  I ran one of the betas for quite a while.

Windows Millenium will be out later this year (I think).
