The other two options were to a) flip a coin for the winner and b) blitz playoff. They were going to settle the match with a blitz playoff but Kasparov decided he was too tired and ceded the tropy to Kramnik. My personnal opinion is that Kasparov was afraid Kramnik!! And for good reason. Kramnik tied their 24 blitz game match, and in at least their last four classical chess games Kramnik has had a large advantage. :)) I would love to see a title match between these two. I suspect Kasparov would not be happy with the result. :) James
