I know that against computers, I much prefer to play with an increment.  A lot
of the programs on the servers are unsupervised, and will simply run you out of
time in dead drawn positions if you play without increments.  It's hard enough
to beat or draw them anyway.

I've played one human/computer player who admitted in his finger notes that he
had used CM5000 until he got caught.  From a blunder he made against me, I'm
convinced he wasn't using it any more.  I have no idea whether he had finger
notes before he was caught. ;-)
