 Hi,

I have been playing programs on ICC for several years now. It is no
longer an issue for me as it is pretty common and there is seldom any
thing done about it. I have comp operators tell me all the time this
guy or that one uses a program. And when I see someone make 4-5 moves
in a row that the comp expects its a pretty good bet he is using a program.
Having watched thousands of games against GM's and programs you get a feel
for how games play out. It is rare for GM's to contiuously make moves the
program is expecting. While the % may vary from program to program, during a
game one can expect that programs will anticipate the others move better than
half the time. Sometimes to even 75%. Shep has some statistics on this which
 several months ago I posted.
