Alright, lets try this again.

If you use the correct epd string (with black to move), which, I believe,
was the intent of the original post, Screamer takes several minutes
to find the mate in 9

Re1+ Kh2 Bg1+ Kh1 Bf2+ Kh2 Bg3+ Kxg3 Qg5+ Kf2 Rxf3+ Kxe1 Qc1+ Ke2 Re3+ Kf2 Qe1+

I still like the first version better :)
