Thanks, I had never tried that, in Windows98 you need to right click on the titlebar at the top and you basically get the same menu as you get by left clicking in the left hand corner. But I can't get away with right clicking _in_ the Dos box to do anything though. I wish MS had just built Ctrl V into the Dos box as a paste shortcut, that would have made me very happy. Pete
