Subject: Phalanx can analyze

Author: Pete Galati

I was messing around with Winboard's analysis mode today for the first time, and
I discovered that Phalanx has the ability to analyze too (what took me so long?

If you want to generate a log file you can add "-g(filename)" to Phalanx's
command line, I added this line to my winboard.ini file:

\"Phalanx -t8960 -r900 -glog.c\" /fd=d:\\Phalx22

so that it prints the moves out to the file "log.c" file. The .c filetype was a
matter of convenience to me because it's associated with the PFE editor which
copies and pastes to the CCC forum without any problems, whereas with the
Wordpad program I have problems, but you could have -glog.txt to print the moves
into a "log.txt" file instead. Phalanx will probably keep adding to the same
file though if you don't rename it, I don't know.

Below is my first try of Phalanx analyzing.
