Hi Vincent, Well, it's funny that when I was following the game 'live', my program also thought Rxf7+ was much better than Qc2. But now that I'm letting it think longer, it switches to Qc2 at ply 12 :), and that's with material eval only. Now it's on ply 15 and still bestmove Qc2. That's just to say that it could have played this because of *not* seeing something, like my program probably is :) Or is it, hmmmmmm ... cheers, Paul
