Hello,

I thought that some people might find the following interesting: a Net
acquaintance has been accused of cheating on one of the servers and he's sent me
one of his games in which he (the winner) is supposed to have used a computer
program. Here's the game (name and venue are fictitious, of course):

[Event "rated blitz game"]
[Site "OK Corral"]
[Date "2000.03.09"]
[Round "-"]
[White "A.N. Other"]
[Black "N.N."]
[WhiteElo "1733"]
[BlackElo "1907"]
[Result "*"]

1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nc3 d5 4. cxd5 Nxd5 5. e4 Nxc3
6. bxc3 Bg7 7. Bb5+ c6 8. Ba4 O-O 9. Nf3 Bg4 10. O-O Qa5
11. Bd2 Qh5 12. Rb1 b6 13. Re1 Nd7 14. Bxc6 Rac8 15. Qa4
Rc7 16. e5 Rfc8 17. Be4 Nf8 18. h3 Bd7 19. Qa3 Bxh3
20. gxh3 Qxh3 21. Ng5 Qg4+ 22. Bg2 h6 23. Re4 Qd7 24. Nxf7
Kxf7 25. e6+ Nxe6 26. Bh3 Rc6 27. Rbe1 Qd5 28. Bxe6+ Rxe6
29. Rxe6 Bf6 30. Rxf6+ Kxf6 31. Qxe7+ Kf5 32. Re5+ Qxe5
33. Qxe5+ Kg4 34. Qe6+ {Black lost connection, game
adjourned} *

I have gone through the game and drew some conclusions. Perhaps some of you
could run the game through your Fritzes, Shredders, Tigers, etc. and tell me if
you think that White was relying on a computer?
