I typically play only 1/0 and have often noticed that certain opponents lag during the last 5 or so seconds. Some I notice also you can be winning on time say 5 - 3 seconds left and the opponent then manages to make 5 or 6 per second, while I, even with my piece ready over the intended square, can only make maybe 2 or 3. The graphics idea would sound viable, though I know you are not thinking of it in the same terms as I. You are thinking of the opponent having more thought time wheras I am not sure of this lagging effect to the time (autoclock) if any. Thanks.
