Yeah, the game history has to be considered an important issue. Most people & programs don't consider the utterly ridiculous moves that _could_ happen, until somebody who doesn't have a clue about the game plays them. Things like 1. P-KR4, why would you do that? But if you don't know anything about Chess, that seems like it makes sense. So is everyone counting the utterly ridiculous? Pete
