From what I can see, Frank likes the program too. I could not understand much of what he said regarding winboard compatibility, but it seems as though there were some special configuration options he had to set to get some of the engines to work the way he wanted them to. I also know that Convekta has extensively reworked the winboard compatibility of CA 5 since Frank's Review, and they were very proud of the results. The only configuration file edits that I had to make were to add tablebase access to crafty in the crafty.rc file. But I hardly play around with this stuff to the extent that Frank does. Bob P.
