I use it to order to moves everywhere in the tree.

I can't remember if you are writing a program or not, but if you are, this is
something you test both ways.  This is true of almost every question you can
think to ask.  "Try it and see" is an excellent answer to most of these
questions, especially if it works, you report back, and others can benefit from
something new that you've discovered.
