Uri,

The Israeli chess league rules specify that you CANNOT upgrade the software
during the season but you CAN use a special opening book.
I think the reason was that it is very difficult to tell what's an upgrade and
what’s a new version.
The fact that you and Fritz 6 operator ignore the rules creates bad atmosphere
during the games. Instead of enjoying computer chess people are arguing
constantly. I think you and others just have to respect the rules.

Saying that Rami Tal is not interest in computer chess but just wants to win is
twisting the truth. Actually he demanded that you will play by the rules like
all the others.
Your actions caused Tal Haimovich to feel cheated. Why shouldn’t he get a win?
He played by the rules while you ignored the rules.

Best regards
Shanti
