I asked almog borstein about it and he told me that I can use Century1.2a
because it is still Rebel Century.

I told Moshe slav also about it and he told me that there is no problem but
maybe he did not understand that this is an upgrade and thought that it is only
something like opening book.

I asked Yona kosasvilly before playing with the upgrade and he told me to ask
Ram sofer and Ram sofer told me to do what I want

I understood that the rules are not clear about it and decided to use
Century1.2a

I think that rules that upgrade are illegal are unfair and if I knew before of
my decision to work for Ed in the first place that I cannot change nothing
except opening books then maybe I would not want to operate Rebel.

humans can learn between games and not only opening books so it is not fair
that computers have no right to learn between games.

Rami tal said that it is the same as playing with another player and I do not
agree because the difference in knowledge if you upgrade the software is
similiar to the difference in knowledge of the same player and not of different
players.

Inspite of this fact I did not decide to play against the rules.
The problem was that I was not sure about the rules and did not want not to use
an upgrade when I have the right to use it.

I tried to ask someone who is above me and they did not tell me not to play with
century1.2a.

If one of soffer, almog, slav would tell me not to play then I would not play with
the upgrade.
slav told me not to play with the upgrade against shredder so I decided not to
play with it against shredder.

I did not mean not to respect the rules.

Do you mean that the second part (just wants to win) is twisting the truth or
also the first part (is not interested in computer chess)

About the second part:
My experience with him is that he does every legal thing in order to win.
If someone got the impression that I say that he did something illegal then I
apologize.

Some facts:

Rami Tal demanded that I will play by the rules only before the game against
shredder.
He did not do it when he knew that I used the upgrade in the first time.

Rami Tal also demanded that Junior will not be connected to the internet in the
game against shredder when I had no problem with it because I think that not
letting Junior to be connected to the internet is unfair and I do not care about
cheating because I believe Amir Ban and it is also posssible to check it.

Rami Tal also voted against computers in the league and this give me the
impression that he does not interested in computer chess.

He prefered to take advantage of operator errors instead of letting the operator
to take back a move and play a real comp-comp games.

These are the facts.

Do you know about cases when he did something that was against shredder's chance
to win because he felt that the rule is unfair?

>Your actions caused Tal Haimovich to feel cheated. Why shouldn’t he get a win?
>He played by the rules while you ignored the rules.

I am sorry that he felt cheated.
