I don't know about position.lrn, but...

You can import book.lrn into the book.bin.  Make sure that you rename book.lrn
before you import it, something like learn.txt, and import _that_, if you try to
import it as book.lrn, it will end up copying itself to the end of it's own
self, and it'll just keep doing that over and over, and you'll have a mess.

So do remember to rename it, then import it.  I have not done this for a long
time, so make sure you read the instructions in the doc file first.  It's not a
very strentuous thing to do for the most part.
