Last week, Club Kasparov ran several games "live" on their website - and sometimes it works quite well! I've no doubt it's possible to see live chess at FICS or ICS, but it's not straightforward to do so. The Club Kasparov live chess has the following features: * live chess (usually G/60 blitz) * great board (2D - the 3D board leaves a little to be desired) * shows you what pieces have been taken * expert commentary I'll bet that if I create a website which offers this live "sport" all the time (new game starting every 30 minutes), G/30 games (to keep it moving), some sort of commentary, and the same kind of easy access that KC has, I'll build up a substantial following. Could this be the beginning of my business empire? -g
