Call the airline and tell them it's a free program. If nothing else, it will make the consultant's name become a stink. He could also sell them Stobor or something better if they are interested. The whole thing sounds pretty strange. If Tom has officially released his program to the public domain, there is nothing that can be done to prevent someone from selling it for a billion dollars to some schmuck. That's the down-side of public domain.
