What I personally think is 'incorrect' about the GPL in this case is
that it does not prevent me from using the modified program to play
in tournaments for example. I'm pretty sure most original authors won't
like that idea...

Excellent point.

What I've been wanting to ask for some time now, but didn't dare to:

What gives Dr. Ulrich Tuercke the right to withold the sources to Comet ?
