Subject: Easter Tourney.............SOS v CM6000 game 1

Hi,
After 40 games of this tourney CM6K the leader of group one plays
SOS. It would appear that CM6K, CM6666, F6a and J6a all have strong
chances to make the semi-final matches.

All crosstables and zipped pgn of first 40 games at my website:
http://www.geocities.com/chessfun_1999

SOS seemed to throw the draw away.
Around move 70 CM had no interest in moving it's rook away from the
a file to the g or f file and opening up the position, both programs
at this point saw the position as equal, whereas to me especially after
the exchange of the light squared bishop, black is clearly winning.
CM's lack of aggression was likely that it was worried about a4, a5.
But with it's king on b7 it would have been fine and the rook could have
had open space to work in.

SOS's 71 is clearly wrong as is it's 72nd.

Time SOS 49 minutes.
CM6000 41 minutes.
