This is really surprising to me because, as far as I know it is almost impossible for a winboard engine using the winboard adapter to ponder under Fritz. I logged the communications between Fritz (v6 demo) and my program and it appears that, before each move, the fritz adapter sets the initial position and then replays all the moves so far ! Maybe there is a way to configure this or I have an older version of the wiboard adapter provided by chessbase ? Ujecrh
