I have this program.  It accepts your name (or whatever name you put in:)), as a
user, and you can 'play as Tal', in 253 test positions, from Tals games. I don't
know if the rating performance it gives you is accurate, (it ask you to input
you elo, and then presumably, it rates you according to that).  Also, the
program is in two moduals - One is Play as Tal, and the other is a database
(based on Chess Assistant [4?]).  2592 games, 1949-92.  Virtually the whole of
Tals career as an active player.  The games are wonderful, the quizes selected
are difficult.  I think Tal was the best World Champion for us to emulate.  He
was active throughout his career, his positional insight was (IMO),
underestimated, and Tal was a kind and courteous (from what I've read), to his
opponents too.

This program from Convetka is wonderful, even though it is missing a few
features, compared to ChessBase, and I hope other great champions will be
featured this way in future Chess Assistant realeases!
