I'll look into it a bit more, but my experience is that if the engine matches
that ponder, Fritz doesn't seem to send a new command, but rather lets it
continue.  One thing I defintly don't like about the Fritz-winboard interface is
how much control the fritz interface takes, ie making it resign, take draws, and
of course the, well, what is really quite a poor way of handling the interfaces
as you said.

In fact while writing this, Doctor?3 vs TCB 045, when TCB pondered correctly, it
appeared that Fritz didn't update the move or something.  As TCB was able to
just continue on at 9 ply or so, rather then start over.
