Crafty will simply dump core and die every time. Their long long implementation was horrible and produced wrong answers most of the time. There have been major bugs in every release of gcc, just like every other compiler. If you only knew about all the background work I did while getting Crafty into specint 2000, you would be _amazed_ at how many compilers broke trying to optimize my code correctly...
