Gur is still the only one to have beaten Junior in the league (in 1997, when he played for Beersheva). I don't have the game score with me, but it was an uneventful one. The IM opened the Catalan as white, played solidly and accurately and offered an early draw around move 23. This was turned down, but around move 35 in a level RNN+5P endgame Junior offered a draw which was accepted. Amir
